“When searching for a wedding photographer in Mexico, I had a very difficult time finding someone that I thought could provide the specific style of photography I was looking for. I wanted a photographer that would be able to provide something much different from your standard/traditional wedding photos. I wanted a photographer with a strong sense of style who had a modern approach. The photographer I was looking for needed to be able to create truly natural poses and have a keen understanding for how to use light to enhance the look of a photo. I wanted someone who could visually tell the story of our wedding and the town it took place in. “When I got engaged, both my fiancé and I knew, I was about to start a serious wedding photographer hunt down. I’ve always been into photography, and I really think it’s a shame to have a bunch of fake and boring pictures as the only way to remember a beautiful wedding. I had shared this thought with my fiancé several times in the past, so when the time came to distribute responsibilities for our wedding, finding a photographer was at the top of MY list. I even told him that if the photographer I chose was out of our budget, I would find a way to pay for it myself, but I refused to be another bride with an amazing wedding and “ordinary” pictures to remember it with. Our wedding planner showed me among many other pictures, the most creative and beautiful wedding pictures I had come across with, all with the watermark Juan Carlos Madrigal. As soon as I got home I googled him and totally fell for his pictures! I immediately got in contact with JC via email and then talked over the phone. We met Juan Carlos at our casual shoot, he made us stand in places we would have never considered would make a good background and made me walk though puddles in high heels. Once we saw the pictures we were amazed with the results. The angles and expressions he captured convinced me that he really has an amazing eye! . I really can’t begin to tell you how amazing it was to have Juan Carlos at my wedding. He didn’t only made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera all the time, but our friends and families as well because he made friends with everybody while taking pictures of us getting ready. As a result, everybody looks natural and relaxed in the pictures, because they all enjoyed having JC around. He really made us feel as if our wedding was as special for him as it was for us, he stopped the traffic to get a few shot of us walking down the street, shot every detail of the wedding, he even brought a second shooter free of charge when we had only agreed to pay for one. He was excellent overall. Pictures really exceeded our expectations. It’s amazing how JC can make us not only travel in time back to our wedding day, but he also managed to make us feel the butterflies and the nervousness that we felt that day once more! I can’t say enough about Juan Carlos and his work, just that having him as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made, it was worth every cent and we will be forever grateful for the memories he captured though his lens.
